Community Engagement

At Faithlegg, we are proud to play an active role in supporting the communities that surround us. Through sponsorship, volunteering, fundraising, and community partnerships, we aim to make a positive and lasting contribution to local life.

Our team has worked alongside community groups to enhance the local environment, including tree planting initiatives in Cheekpoint with the Lyons Club and the development of floral planting areas that help maintain and improve the appearance of the locality. We support biodiversity education through bee workshops in both Passage NS and Faithlegg NS and regularly contribute to community clean-up and environmental projects in conjunction with Supervalu Tidy Towns.

Faithlegg is committed to supporting local organisations and sporting groups. We sponsor pitch signage for Passage East GAA Club, provide jerseys and sportswear for Faithlegg NS teams, and have made a monetary contribution to the Waterford Senior Hurling Team’s training camp in Portugal. We were also proud to support staff member Tommy Delaney in representing Ireland at the Welsh Open as part of the Irish Kickboxing Team.

Each year, we donate more than 100 raffle prizes to local causes, clubs, schools, and fundraising events. We have pledged to support Passage East National School through the sponsorship of a sensory garden valued at €1,000 and continue to provide discounted rates for local parish ecumenical meetings hosted at Faithlegg.

We are also delighted to support community celebrations and social initiatives, including the local Community Fun Day and the annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party, for which we sponsor and provide all food served to attendees.

Through these initiatives, Faithlegg seeks to strengthen community connections, support local wellbeing, and contribute positively to the places and people that make our region unique.
