Falconry - The Ancient Sport of Kings.

At Faithlegg we offer you a Bird of Prey experience of a lifetime offering a unique opportunity to personally fly, handle, feed and interact with some of the world's most amazing Birds of Prey.

1 hour Hawk Walk

Take our hawk walk for hands on experience of flying, handling and feeding a trained hawk.  You will be taken through the grounds where we will teach you about the natural instincts, behaviour, habitat, training and history of these magnificent birds.  A trained hawk will follow on through the trees where you will have the opportunity to call him to your gloved fist.

I hour Owl encounter

During the 1 hour owl encounter, you will get the opportunity to handle, fly and feed one of our owls.  A professional falconer will teach you about the Owls’ secretive world, while one or more Owls fly free around the group.  Camera is a must!

Boules (Or Petanque as they call it in France)

The goal is to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") while standing inside a circle with both feet on the ground. The game is normally played on hard dirt or gravel but we recommend our back gardens preferably over a cold drink of something at the bar. Boules sets are available at the Guest Relations Desk.
