Annual Course Maintenance Programme
Q - When is the programme taking place?
A - The scheduled dates are the 1st to 5th of March. However these dates could change depending on weather, etc.
Q - What type of work is happening on these dates?
A - Hollow Tinning & Top Dressing of all greens plus Ground Breaking on all fairways?
Q - Why is this work neccessary?
A - Hollow Tinning provides aeration and thatch removal which results in improved surface drainage and also encourages root growth.
A - Ground Breaking is essential for the drainage system to work to its full potential! This type of work goes hand in hand with the already excellent drainage system that exists on the course.
Q - How long will the recovery period take?
A - This will depend mainly on the weather. But hopefully 2 - 3 weeks for the greens and 4 - 5 weeks for the fairways to return to 100%
